Bay Area Kids magazine and JE Model are looking for the Bay Area's next top child models. Two boys, two girls, four winners total.
Winners will earn a one-year contract with JE Model, and appear in an upcoming fashion photo shoot for Bay Area Kids magazine, as well as get some cool schwag from Jay Dixon Photography, Looking Glass Photo, and more!
Contest ends November 12, 2010. Winners will be announced in the December/January issue of Bay Area Kids magazine (East Bay edition).

» To submit your child's photo
Photography guidelines:
• Children must be between 5 months and 8 years old.
• Photos must be headshots of child facing the camera.
• Child should not have on any hats, accessories, or make-up.
• Children must live in the Bay Area geographic region.
• Photograph should be as clear as possible on a simple background.
• Photograph should be taken within three months of submission date.
Think objectively: When gathering photos to submit to an agency, take about five simple, clear snapshots that are current, in good natural light, without any makeup, hats, costumes, sunglasses, food on the face, etc. trust me, we've seen it all! Your child's natural, smiling self is what will win us over.
There are two ways to enter:

(2) Send photos to editor@bakidsmagazine.com
Submission of photo/s does not guarantee representation by JE Model.
All photo submissions must include:
Child's age and birth date
Childs legal first/last name
Child's clothing size
Child's current city of residence
Parents first/last name
Valid email address and phone number/s
NOTE: Only a parent or legal guardian 18 years of age or older may submit a photo of their child/ren. Up to five photos per child per family allowed.
What you as a parent should consider before entering:
Being represented by JE Model does not guarantee work for your child.
However, if your child does get work, you will be required to transport and assist your child to and from locations for video or photo shoots. These are usually all day events and take place mostly during the week. If you cannot commit to such a schedule, you should rethink submitting for this contest. Read more here.
